Nepal and South Korea are now members of the Alliance World Fellowship, welcomed at the AWF Quadrennial Convocation in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The revised Statement of Faith and the Guayaquil Manifesto were approved amid a unifying atmosphere at the business sessions. The AWF officers for the next term were elected and all proposals were approved as presented.
The first AWF Quadrennial Convocation in the middle of a global pandemic took place in Milagro, Ecuador. Around 300 registered delegates were welcomed by more than 200 volunteers from the Milagro Central Alliance Church and the Ecuadorian C&MA to form a beautiful expression of the global Alliance family. We could experience the richness of being one, formed by many races, languages and colors, united in Jesus Christ, our Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King. The unity in diversity. The unity of the Spirit that comes from sanctification. The unity that mobilizes the Alliance family to God’s mission. This was a wonderful experience.
As members of the Alliance World Fellowship, we once again affirm our belief in and commitment to Christ, the revelation of God (John 1:18), who Himself is the all-sufficient Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King (1 Cor. 1:30).
Having been commissioned by the Lord Jesus Christ himself, who breathed the words ‘Go’ into the very core of our hearts, we commit ourselves at the beginning of this new decade, to once again being a global missionary movement, especially to the least-reached peoples of the earth.
The Alliance in Guinea is quenching the physical thirst of communities in the high Guinean savannah, where temperatures are high and water is lacking. May God continue to use them to relieve people’s spiritual thirst.
Dr. Rodrigo Tano, former president of the Philippines Alliance (CAMACOP), was called home by our Heavenly Father on September 6, 2021, at the age of 89. Let us pray that the Lord comforts and brings peace and strength to Dr. Tano’s family.
Despite the difficulties the COVID-19 pandemic caused, the National Alliance Fellowship of India (NAFI) was able to hold its conference virtually. More than 100 people participated, including leaders from other countries. Their time together was a blessing, and they truly understood the theme “Festival of Praise.”
The Alliance of Burkina Faso has successfully implanted projects to protect, train and empower the people living in the vulnerable communities it serves. Under God’s guidance, they have assisted 122 households and 1,104 people. Let us pray that our Lord continues to use the lives of our Alliance family in Burkina Faso to bless their fellow countrymen.
The Mongolian herdsmen families of the Gobi Desert faced many challenges in the last two years. They experienced a drought, a harsh winter, the pandemic and natural disasters. But God guided the Mongolian Alliance through all this. They were able to help 51 families with wheat bran and fodder for their livestock. May God continue to use them to touch the lives of their people.
With more than 20 years of ministry, Job Dao is the new president of the C&MA of Burkina Faso. Besides preparing for the church’s centenary celebration, he plans to spread the gospel to unreached cities in Burkina Faso.
With more than 3,500 women present, the AMADA 5 virtual conference held on June 26, 2021 brought a message of hope, comfort, and strength. The speaker, Débora Steffens Fanderwud, used 2 Corinthians 4:7-10 to talk about the church’s situation and women’s role during the pandemic. Thanks to our Lord and Savior, the event was a blessing and a success. May God continue to guide and bless this beautiful women’s ministry in the Latin American region.
Born to revive God’s call for the Alliance women in Latin America, AMADA took its first steps in 2009. The AMADA ministry connects Alliance women across Latin America. Pray that God continues to use this ministry for the growth of his kingdom.
The Alliance church in Mali continues to grow and bless. The ministry has reached many lives, and they continue to reach out to their communities under God’s guidance. Soon they will be celebrating their 100th anniversary. Pray that the Lord continues to use our Malian brothers and sisters to shine his light in Mali.

Seventy-five women from five AWF regions attended the AWF Global Network of Alliance Women’s virtual gathering on June 9, 2021. Thanks to our Heavenly Father, it was a success and a blessing! Pray that this ministry reaches even more women across our global family.
The pandemic initially presented a threatening challenge for the Latin American missionary movement. However, the God of mission guided the CLA to take actions. Despite churches closing, Latin missionaries remained in the field with their virtual and in-person ministries bringing help and hope to those most in need.
On May 8, 2021, the C&MA of Guinea officially began rebuilding the Protestant Evangelical Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Dorata. It was burned down on March 22, 2020, during ethnic conflicts in the region. Let us pray that many more blessings rain down on this new chapter of the ministry of the Guinean Alliance.
With more than 30 years of ministry experience, Sadrac Diarra is the new President of the C&MA Church of Mali. Under God’s guidance, he plans to boost missionary and evangelization ministries to reach more ethnic groups. Pray for the spiritual, physical and material needs of Pastor Diarra’s family and the church.
The AWF Executive Committee has confirmed the AWF Quadrennial Convocation for October 19-23, 2021 in Ecuador. The meeting will be held at the Central Milagro Alliance Church, in a city adjacent to Guayaquil. Please pray for all the necessary preparations for a Spirit-filled, dynamic and safe gathering with participants from all over the world.
