Mission Trip to Mali, Guinea, and Senegal

July 9, 2018

The CLA (Latin America Region) team and some leaders from South-American Alliance churches will be traveling to Mali, Guinea, and Senegal in July 2018. They hope to bring encouragement and blessings to the churches, brothers and sisters they visit.

As part of the CLA (Latin America Region) Missions plan, and taking advantage of the Meeting of the Global Network of Mission Leaders in Senegal, a trip to Western Africa was organized. The trip received direct support from the Alliance Family and from the AWF President, Dr. Jura Yanagihara. Many leaders from various South-American countries, and even some members of the Missions Advisory Team of the CLA, will be participating in this trip.

The objective is to visit Mali, Guinea, and Senegal, bringing encouragement and blessings to other Alliance churches in these countries. They will also learn about the possibilities for new ministries and for sending new missionaries.

They hope this cross-cultural experience helps to promote, mobilize and strengthen the missionary vision of their region, so that they have greater number of cross-cultural missionaries as a result.

The group will be arriving on the early morning of July 11 in Mali, where they will start their journey. They will visit many cities before traveling to Guinea. After that, they leave for Senegal, where they will end this journey. They hope to work with the children, the youth and the adults of the churches.

Please pray for their well-being, health, and protection during their trips to each country. Pray also that they are granted visas, especially to Senegal, without complications, and for ease in communication and team-work with the brothers and sisters in these places they will visit.

Let us also pray that God gives them the right words and wisdom in all they do.
