Rev. Claude Pépin Bouyoba Loembe has been elected president of the C&MA of Congo-Brazzaville. Discover his story, ministry journey, and vision for the national church as part of the global Alliance family.
The Alliance World Fellowship (AWF) is pleased to introduce Rev. Claude Pépin Bouyoba Loembe, the new president of the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) Church of Congo-Brazzaville. Elected during the denomination’s 10th General Assembly in September 2025 and officially installed on November 9, Rev. Bouyoba steps into a strategic leadership role during a pivotal moment of growth and mission advancement for the church in Congo-Brazzaville.
As president of the national church, Rev. Bouyoba aims to guide the church into a season of renewed mission and spiritual vitality. His vision includes:
- Leading believers toward deeper consecration and holistic commitment to Christ.
- Strengthening the missionary identity of the national church.
- Encouraging spiritual and numerical growth.
- Cultivating a culture of discipleship, holiness, and service.
- Expanding the church’s reach within Congo-Brazzaville and beyond.
His leadership seeks to align the national church with the global mission of the Alliance World Fellowship (AWF), encouraging unity and gospel impact across the regions of the nation.
His leadership is recognized for perseverance, deep faith, and a heart for holistic mission—qualities that now shape his new responsibilities as national church president.
Born on February 20, 1968, in Pointe-Noire, Republic of Congo, Claude Pépin Bouyoba Loembe grew up in a Christian family of nine children, the fifth in birth order. He spent his early years in Makabana, a mining town linked to the COMILOG manganese industry in Gabon. His upbringing was marked by both hardship and spiritual heritage—losing his mother in 1989 and his father in 1990—but also by God’s sustaining grace.
His spiritual transformation came in September 1999, when he encountered Christ in the Gabonese mining town of Mounana after fleeing the civil war in Congo. Despite enduring a year of extreme difficulty, he experienced God’s saving work and dedicated his life fully to the Lord.
Upon returning to Congo-Brazzaville, Rev. Bouyoba joined the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and completed two years of biblical training. He was consecrated as a pastor in 2007, beginning decades of ministry as a church planter, missionary, and servant-leadership committed to expanding the gospel across his nation.
Rev. Bouyoba has been married to Christiane since 1998. They are the parents of seven children, forming a family deeply committed to faith and ministry.
He invites the global Alliance community to pray for God’s protection over his life, family, and ministry; for wisdom to lead the national church amid many challenges; for spiritual growth and mission expansion within the church; and for God to enlarge the influence and effectiveness of the Alliance.
