“Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things which have not been done, saying, ‘My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure.’” Isaiah 46:10
God’s works and plans never fail, because He will do all that is His good pleasure. God isn’t just watching the entire happening of history, but He is directing the event. Truly, we are so blessed and excited about what God has planned for the APAC (Asia Pacific) Region throughout the year. That is something worthy to celebrate for His glory.
The most noteworthy blessings among the many things God has greatly done in His ministry in the region is, first, the forming of a new Alliance family in Nepal. The C&MA Nepal is a declaration of God’s unending divine purpose to fill the darkened nation and the whole earth with His shining glory, the glory that will draw the people to the presence of the Holy God.
Secondly, more and more Vietnamese-Thai in Thailand are coming to know Jesus by the on-going gospel propagation from our faithful and courageous missionaries from Vietnam. So much so, it branches out into a new outreach ministry in another province to see God’s purpose and plan in people’s lives is fulfilled for His good pleasure.
Indeed, God is the God of new beginnings. A new partnership had just been established between the Alliance World Fellowship and Korea and Her Neighbors through the initiative of the Alliance Churches of Korea. Through this, we are looking forward to a more exciting collaboration of reaching the Diaspora in the region and in sending missionaries where they are needed.
God willing in the year to come, as the Lord leads the Alliance World Fellowship, we will carry and bring the radiance of God’s glory to Bangladesh. The APAC Regional Coordinating Committee (RCC) is organizing a Probe Trip to this country April 16-20, 2020. For His great pleasure, we dream that a new Christian and Missionary Alliance will be formed in Bangladesh.
Finally, for what God has done in the region, I am grateful to the Lord for the APAC Regional Coordinating Committee (RCC) and all the churches of the region for their contribution, support, encouragement, spirit of unity, and prayers to bless the Lord’s ministry. The region is deeply thankful for the Alliance World Fellowship for its Spirit-filled leadership that humbly and selflessly provides support and direction to all the regions for the great harvest. To God be the glory!
