AWF and CAMA Services (Alliance Missions – USA) are working together to mobilize a global response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Jesus is a compassionate savior calling us to action. As we prayed together, we felt compelled to seek a fast and effective response to the needs of the most vulnerable people among those served by Alliance churches worldwide. On March 17, 2019 flashfloods and landslides triggered by torrential rains hit Jayapura district of Papua province in Indonesia. Houses, office buildings, roads, bridges and public facilities across Jayapura were affected by the disaster.

After the destructive tsunami that hit Palu in September 2018, Reverends Daniel Ronda and Lai Ka Lai are visiting the island to get an update on the relief work and rebuilding project.

“Thanks to the Lord, we will be able to help 12 villages in Indonesia hit by the recent natural catastrophes”, says Dr. Daniel Ronda, President of the Alliance Church of Indonesia. “The contributions and prayers of the Alliance Family are enabling us to reach thousands of people with the love of Christ. Please continue to pray and contribute.”

The C&MA Jabal Amman church in Jordan has been working with these people since the 1990s and offers assistance to around 1000 families.
