With more than 3,500 women present, the AMADA 5 virtual conference held on June 26, 2021 brought a message of hope, comfort, and strength. The speaker, Débora Steffens Fanderwud, used 2 Corinthians 4:7-10 to talk about the church’s situation and women’s role during the pandemic. Thanks to our Lord and Savior, the event was a blessing and a success. May God continue to guide and bless this beautiful women’s ministry in the Latin American region.
Born to revive God’s call for the Alliance women in Latin America, AMADA took its first steps in 2009. The AMADA ministry connects Alliance women across Latin America. Pray that God continues to use this ministry for the growth of his kingdom.
Seventy-five women from five AWF regions attended the AWF Global Network of Alliance Women’s virtual gathering on June 9, 2021. Thanks to our Heavenly Father, it was a success and a blessing! Pray that this ministry reaches even more women across our global family.
The pandemic initially presented a threatening challenge for the Latin American missionary movement. However, the God of mission guided the CLA to take actions. Despite churches closing, Latin missionaries remained in the field with their virtual and in-person ministries bringing help and hope to those most in need.

Who could imagine that a trip to New York would have resulted in the birth of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Costa Rica? This national church is young but full of energy to fulfill the Great Commission alongside other churches in Central America.
The Alliance in Latin America is building its missionary vision as it finds new ways to fulfill the Great Commission in urban areas and in cross-cultural projects. The emphasis of the Alliance Ministerial Update in Latin America in November 2020 will be missions.
Reverend Liusbel Utrera Morgado opened his heart to Jesus 15 years ago. His ministry has always been pastoral, and he has worked in leadership roles from the local church to the national office. As the new president of the C&MA Church of Cuba, the Lord has given him a vision for a healthy and growing church that aims to fulfill the Great Commission.
The women of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Latin America will hold conferences in October 2020 about the ministry, life and development of Christian women. Men and women are invited to participate in the third part of the Ministerial Update organized by CLA, AWF and FATELA.
