Evangelizing by Cleaning the Streets

The Alliance church in Paraguay has been dedicated to serving their friends and neighbors by cleaning the streets and squares near their churches, delivering food and discipling people. Let us pray that God continues to use the Alliance family in Paraguay to be a blessing.

The Christian and Missionary Alliance in Paraguay found several ways to show God’s love during these difficult times. It has been an encouragement both for the new believers and for the church. Since last year, they have been visiting the nine churches and the new church plants all over the country for marriage counseling and discipleship.

Pastors and missionaries have met with people every two weeks, teaching God’s Word, praying for them, and helping them with their needs. They also have taken the opportunity to distribute food to the families, and they have gone even further – they have begun cleaning the streets near the churches. That has resulted in people opening their homes and coming to Jesus.

Praise God that he is using the Alliance of Paraguay to touch many lives with his love and grace. May the Lord continue to reach communities in this way all over the country. Let us pray together that their efforts can move forward and expand.
