AWF Women Ministries continues to be a blessing to our women worldwide. Formed by President Jura Yanagihara to prepare workshops for the 2021 AWF Quadrennial Convocation, this ministry has sought to connect the Alliance family worldwide through women’s ministries. This year, this ministry’s leaders take another step in God’s plan to carry out the Great Commission.
Since its formation in 2020, AWF Women Ministries has diligently worked to carry out God’s plan for Alliance women. Representing the five regions of our global family, they meet once a month on Zoom to pray, share God’s Word and discuss future actions.
Recently, our Lord has shown the AWF Women Ministries team the next step: to start ministries to train and prepare Alliance women worldwide for the Great Commission.
With hearts ready to obey this calling, these godly women have designed four ministries under one vision, one mission. “We envision the Alliance women living a satisfying relationship with God, connecting with one another, using their gifts, and spreading the gospel around the world,” says Eunice Lumawag, leader and facilitator of the ministry.
The mission is to empower, train, enhance and strengthen women across the AWF family. They will learn more about God and their gifts to spread the gospel to every nation and people in all regions.
Together, they will be leading four ministries on Leadership, Prayer and Missions, Professional and Career, and Pastors’ Wives.
Stay tuned for more updates on these ministries and how to participate!
May God continue to bless our Alliance women and use them for his glory and the extension of his kingdom.
