AWF Generosity Day

Throughout our history as an Alliance family, God has sustained and honored the passion, love, and faithful service of our churches in their neighborhoods and communities. This is the true heart of the Alliance. The work and dedication of every local church form the foundation of all we are able to accomplish together around the world under one shared purpose.

What we are building together continues to grow in significance and impact because, united as one family, we keep responding to Christ’s call to be his witnesses to the ends of the earth. Today, more than 6.7 million believers worship in Alliance churches across more than 80 countries. We speak many languages, live in many cultures, and serve in many contexts, yet we share one Lord, one mission, and one spiritual family.

At our recent global gathering in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast, we celebrated fifty years of God’s faithfulness to the Alliance World Fellowship (AWF). We looked back with deep gratitude, but we also looked ahead with renewed clarity. The Great Commission still stands before us. The call of Christ still compels us. The mission is not finished.

Even now, billions remain without Christ, and many people groups still have little or no access to the gospel. Entire communities are suffering under the weight of war, displacement, poverty, persecution, and spiritual darkness. In the face of such urgent need, our mission cannot slow down. We were born to bring the light of Christ where he is not yet known. We were called to go to the hard places, the costly places, and the forgotten places of the earth.

This is why the Alliance World Fellowship exists. When a nation is struck by humanitarian crisis, AWF stands alongside the church to demonstrate that the love of God is real through compassion and relief. Where the church is growing rapidly, especially in the Global South, AWF helps equip leaders, pastors, and missionaries for the future. Where access to the gospel is limited, we work together through courageous and creative strategies so that Christ may still be proclaimed in the power of the Holy Spirit.

On this AWF Generosity Day, we are inviting our global Alliance family to join together with fresh faith and shared commitment. This is not simply a call to give. It is a call to participate. A call to stand with the local church beyond your own borders. A call to help carry the gospel farther than any one of us could go alone. AWF Generosity Day was envisioned not only to support the mission financially, but also to deepen awareness, ownership, and prayer across the whole Alliance family.

Perhaps your feet cannot travel today to many parts of Asia, Africa, the Middle East, or other places where the need is great. But through your generosity, you become part of what God is doing there. Your gift strengthens those who are serving, equips those who are being sent, and helps AWF continue advancing gospel witness, leadership development, and compassionate ministry around the world. Every offering becomes a bridge that carries hope farther. Every act of generosity becomes an expression of worship and partnership in the gospel.

The task is not finished, but we do not go alone. We go as one family, under one Lord, empowered by one Spirit, for one global mission. Because we are more than an organization. We are AWF: A Church Without Borders.
