“Thanks to the Lord, we will be able to help 12 villages in Indonesia hit by the recent natural catastrophes”, says Dr. Daniel Ronda, President of the Alliance Church of Indonesia. “The contributions and prayers of the Alliance Family are enabling us to reach thousands of people with the love of Christ. Please continue to pray and contribute.”
We would like to thank the Alliance World Fellowship family for your great support to our people who have been affected by earthquakes, tsunami, and liquefaction in Palu, Sulawesi. With your help, we were able to distribute logistics such as food, water and some basic needs for the people in 12 villages who were severely affected. Every village has at least 100 families. If each family has an average of four members, then we are able to deliver help to more than 4,800 people approximately within five weeks. We are also doing trauma healing for the children in those villages by distributing children’s books, storytelling, and giving some basic needs for the kids.
After more than a month, the Kemah Peduli Foundation, which is part of the Alliance Church of Indonesia, is still present to do relief work in Palu. We are not just focusing to help our church members, but we are mostly helping the community at large so that we can show the love of Christ to them.
Please continue to pray for us as we plan also to rebuild the Alliance Church in Palu, that has been damaged during the earthquakes.
