For the first time in years, an Alliance Youth Conference is scheduled this month in Khandala, in India. Youth pastor Naveen (pict. left, with Indian leader Rajesh Patole, in front of the National Office) writes: „Young people are very excited about it and we expect that God will be doing great things.
We pray that attendants will surrender their lives to God. In all things we wanna see Him glorified.” Many Churches in India are struggling because of divisions and other problems. How encouraging that young people want to look ahead and be a light in this vast country.
Naveen: “We want the extended C&MA family to pray for us and for the entire Conference.” There are 1,215,000,000 people living in India. Approximately 80% is Hindu, 13,5% Muslim and 2,5% Christian, 2% Sikh (official census 2001)
