The 1.300-year-old centre of Dukezong, a Tibetan town in Southern China, was hit by a huge fire. At least 1.000 people had to be evacuated and it is hard estimate the damage. Hundreds of antique buildings were destroyed.

An Alliance Christian family had moved to the town sometime ago, intending to share the gospel with the many who do not know Christ. Their work-place burned down and they will have to restart from scratch. Please pray for all who suffer because of the catastrophe. Pray for the Christian family that they will not be discouraged and that they may sense God’s touch in the midst of trouble.
