Founded in 1994, the Alliance of Russia (ECMU) focused on church-planting and missionary work from the very start. The Russian C&MA conducts many ministries and wishes to continue growing and expanding God’s kingdom. They ask us to pray for their ministries and international workers during these difficult times.
Rev. Sergey Rybikov has been serving the Lord for 26 years. Now, he is guiding the Russian Alliance forward. He intends to strengthen the prayer culture within their churches, train new ministers and unify the Alliance family in Russia. With this, he plans to rekindle the flames of missionary work in the Russian Alliance.
Seventy-five women from five AWF regions attended the AWF Global Network of Alliance Women’s virtual gathering on June 9, 2021. Thanks to our Heavenly Father, it was a success and a blessing! Pray that this ministry reaches even more women across our global family.
Praise the Lord for the overwhelmingly good news from the Sudanese Alliance Church! Despite the challenges they face, our brothers and sisters are thriving under our God’s blessings. Let us pray that they continue to have the strength, wisdom, and faith to keep growing.
The Alliance church in Syria decided to start a project as part of its ministry to meet the increasing need of counseling people. Let us pray for wisdom for the church’s leadership to enable them to empower and encourage people and to see opportunities in the middle of this dark atmosphere.
Forty years ago, the first Vietnamese refugee arrived in Finland and now there are more than ten thousand. The Grace Montagnard Alliance Church, led by Reverend Y Lem Rahlan, started in 2007 and their vision is to reach the Montagnards who belong to the Jorai tribe.
As we approach the end of the year and prepare to celebrate the Christmas season and the new year 2021, I wish each one of you a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
