Young educators enthusiastic about passing along the Alliance History and Thought are invited to participate in a training course to be held in New York City in 2019.
To further enable and grow the mission of The Christian and Missionary Alliance worldwide, the AWF has initiated a project to gather select young educators from the various regions of Alliance World Fellowship to motivate, equip, and train them to effectively pass along an enthusiasm for the rich history, theology, and missional and pastoral practice of the C&MA (Alliance History and Thought/Alliance DNA) among its official and lay workers.
This training will take place on June 23rd to 29th in the campus of the Alliance Theological Seminary in New York to allow the students to be exposed to significant locations relevant to the establishment of the C&MA.
Candidates should have ministerial experience in the Alliance after completing its theological training. Advanced degrees are recommended but its completion is not mandatory. Details of the application process and candidate requirements are available from your AWF-ICTE regional representatives.
Potential candidates are invited to submit their application and selected applicants will receive an in-country scholarship that includes all training, living and accommodation costs whilst in the USA. After completing the training course, the educators should be available to teach the Global Course on Alliance History and Thought in different places throughout the year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for young educators to gain a thorough understanding and first-hand experience of the history and foundational thought of the C&MA. We commend the opportunity to you.
