The story of the Christian and Missionary Alliance of Uruguay starts in the 1960s when the Argentinian C&MA sent two missionaries, Pastor Francisco and wife Ester Pérez. In the early 1970s, the Uruguayan Alliance began its national and indigenous ministry independently.
The Uruguayan Alliance today has many active ministries. The women have the Evangelical Association of Alliance Ladies of Uruguay (AEDA). There’s the Bible Institute, and the Alliance Theological Education Center (CETAU). The church also has a Missions Department that promotes and raises awareness and contributions to our missionary vision as a global family.
Please pray for the church’s leadership and the decisions they must make to organize the community. We ask God to continue giving them a passionate heart for missions. May they be strengthened by our Lord’s presence so that they can be an even bigger blessing for their country.
