In the 1960's an inter-ecclesiastical committee of the Christian and Missionary Alliance was created in France with Daniel and Pemmy Bordreuil, Christian and Suzanne Leflaec, Louis King, and Georges Klein. They began a work of evangelization and support for the diasporas arriving in France.
The national Alliance church (AECM France) was founded in 1977 with four churches.
AECM France is committed to sharing the gospel with all those who are on French soil. We work to multiply disciples, leaders, churches and cultures touched by the gospel.
Whatever their condition, each person has a place in the heart of Jesus and in our hearts and we wish to introduce Jesus to them: French people, immigrants, women, children, young people, students, and workers.
We hope that the Alliance will take a place of more importance among other evangelical denominations in France.
Our desire is to see the Alliance family of France getting involved at the regional and international level. We are working hard with our Alliance partners around the world to make this happen.
We rely on pastors, church planters and elders who play a key role in our local churches and plants. We are grateful for the ministry of all servants and international workers, whether they are from here or abroad, who minister in churches, abroad or with regular trips abroad for membership training, church planting and revitalization.
