The Christian and Missionary Alliance of Costa Rica was born 40 years ago. A lady surnamed Quirós traveled to New York to visit her family and attended a church service of the C&MA and gave her life to the Lord Jesus. Upon returning to Costa Rica, she established a small group in her house. Once she had a group, she made a phone call to the office of the C&MA in New York and told them she had a group to baptize. This resulted in the establishment of the C&MA in Costa Rica in 1976 to this day.
