As the pandemic grows, we are planning webinars to share experiences of how churches are facing the challenges posed by this pandemic.
The new coronavirus has affected every country in the world, and each place has been impacted in a different way. With social distancing adopted by most of them, churches have been meeting in new (or old) ways.
AWF is organizing webinars with National Presidents of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. The webinars will be broadcast live on Facebook, to connect the Alliance family in different countries so that they may share their experiences. God is on the move and each group is responding to the call from God in different ways.
The first Facebook Live broadcast will be on April 30 (Thursday) with pastors Mario Perez and Jorge Alvarez, the Presidents of the Alliance of Peru and Spain, respectively. The conversation (Peru at 2 p.m. and Spain at 9 p.m.) will be in Spanish, but we plan to have additional webinars in English, French, Portuguese, Arabic and other languages.
How are we being the church of Jesus Christ in these difficult times? How have we faced and responded to the new challenges posed by this pandemic? As a global Alliance family, we want to strengthen our communication and dialogue with you.
