The CLA Board met in Central America for a time of worship, reflection and encouragement. The members of the C&MA family in Guatemala were spiritually strengthened and challenged to continue with God’s work in their country and throughout the world.
The Board of the Latin American Fellowship Alliance (CLA – Confraternidad Latinoamericana Aliancista) held its regular meeting in Guatemala City from March 18 to 20, where more than just raising administrative issues, they also worked on the orientation and planning of the next CLA Assembly and Conference to be held from September 23 to 27, in Guatemala. The Board is made up of Pastor David Muthre, President, Pastor Mario Pérez, Vice President, Pastor Felipe Fierro, Secretary, Engineer Luis Moreno, Treasurer, and Pastor Alex Fajardo, Vowel.
During this visit to Central America, the CLA Board members shared a workshop with all the leaders of the Alliance in this country, addressing issues that varied from the centrality of Christ as the basis for the ministry that the Alliance Christian and Missionary in the world, to an inductive study of the book of Acts on the early Church, its ministry and growth, the formation of disciples of Christ, among other subjects.
At the same time the concerns of those present and their needs were listened to. There were pleasant times and great edification for the family of the C&MA in Guatemala, which were spiritually strengthened and challenged to continue with the work of being salt and light of the earth, so that many may know Christ through their lives.
