Rev. Philip Teng passed away peacefully at a hospital in Hong Kong on 19 December 2013 at the age of 92. Many have been blessed through his ministry as teacher and preacher. The Alliance World Fellowship remembers him especially as its 2nd President (1979-1983) and as devotional speaker at the Quadrennial Convocation in Seoul, 1995. In Hong Kong Rev. Teng pastored North Point Alliance Church, led the Alliance Bible Seminary and was president of the C&MA Hong Kong Church Union. Dr. Teng was founding director of the Chinese Studies Program at the  Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, USA. Philip Teng will be remembered as a wise and humble servant of the Christ.
