Planting churches rooted in the Bible, expanding the missionary vision and training the pastors with a strong Alliance perspective are central topics of the ministry of the Latin American Region. Rev. David Muthre and his team have led the region to fulfill these objectives.
The CLA (AWF Latin American Region) RCC (Regional Coordinating Committee) met in Rivera, Uruguay, from March 20th to 23rd, 2018,to seek God’s guidance and to work on various initiatives of the region. One of them is the planning for the CLA Regional Conference that will occur in Mar del Plata, Argentina, from September 24th to 28th, 2018. Concerning the initiatives in missions, the commitment of CLA to the missionary projects in Portugal, India-Asia, Italy and Panama were reaffirmed and a new initiative in Spain was approved. The need of a doctoral course to be offered in the region by an Alliance institution was also discussed and initiatives were taken to make this happen as soon as possible.
