These are challenging times for Syria. Most of the time the Alliance Church in Homs is closed, but the pastor is still there and takes care of the people around him. The church sanctuary, an underground facility, is being used by neighbors as a refuge when the fighting gets bad. The Lord’s name is being glorified even in the midst of this terrible situation. In the area of Marmarita, not very far from Homs, fighting is going on across the valley. But the Alliance Church members are grateful for the opportunity to serve people coming from Homs who have moved to their relatively safer town. The Church members experience the Lord’s protection and guidance in times of trouble. Please remember them in your prayers.
