Two men on a motorcycle fired at the car of Colombian Alliance President Humberto Guzman (photo), when he went to the National Office on April12. The bullet just missed his head, but hit him in the shoulder. The authorities are investigating the motives of the terrorists and recommend that the Guzman family leaves the country for a few weeks as they are obviously being targeted. The National Board of the C&MA in Colombia will have an extraordinary meeting to deal with this issue.
They ask for prayer support for:
- protection over Rev. Guzman, his family and the C&MA in Colombia
- wisdom for the authorities so they can find the motives and the attackers
- funds and a place to stay outside of the country for awhile
- visas required
