In May the 2000th person participated in a Leadership Matters Course. The LMC is a two week intensive program, focused on developing basic leadership skills for Christian workers around the world and is appreciated by those who did it. This is what Rev Dr Rod Russell-Brown (picture), President of the Christian and Missionary Alliance of Australia, says about his experience: “I have found the LMC training immensely helpful. The comprehensive set of tools and skills has increased my personal effectiveness in ministry and these skills are highly transferable to others. Whilst theory in leadership is important, LMC has filled a very important place providing practical tools to enable leaders to establish ministry based on solid relationships. We are using LMC as a key way to train leaders.”
The course is already available in French and soon in Spanish as well. This year the course was held in Cameroon, Germany, Cambodia and then in the Philippines, where the 2000th participant registered. It was the 66th time and it is scheduled for many more countries, like China, Turkey, Zimbabwe, Switzerland, Cameroon, Canada and Australia. The Alliance World Fellowship is an LMC partner organization.
